Kyoto Gakuen University Research Fellowships Offered to Faculty and Graduate Students

Kyoto Gakuen University (KGU) is offering two annual grants of ¥1,000,000 (~ $10,000) to Harvard graduate students and faculty to cover the costs of travel and accommodations to conduct research in Kyoto on a topic related to Asia. Recipients will be expected to remain in Kyoto for three months where they will be provided with an office at KGU and library access. Recipients will be expected to make use of the office regularly (2-3 days per week, 2-3 hours per day) and will be asked to give two lectures during their stay. This fellowship has no citizenship requirements and recipients are not precluded from holding concurrent affiliations with other institutions.

Application requirements are: Project Proposal (1,000 words), CV, and one letter of recommendation.
