Asia Center Graduate Summer Research Grants
In response to Harvard's ongoing travel restrictions, the Asia Center will consider funding undergraduate and graduate research grant applicationsfor students who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Travel within the United States and internationally is permitted (although the student travel policies still apply for international travel). Please see theHarvard Travel Guidance websitefor up to date information.
Research must look at two or more countries of East, South, and Southeast Asia comparatively or explore the relations among Asian countries. Individual country topics may only be considered for Southeast Asian countries or if they are part of broader, multi-country research. This multi-country context must be made explicit in the application.
Grant recipients are required to submit a written report upon completion that may be used by the Asia Center online and in printed materials.
Grants are open to students who will be returning to Harvard for at least one semester following the funded activity. Students must be in good standing at the time of funding.
