Asia Center K-12 Outreach Grants
The Harvard University Asia Center annually offers two grants of up to $5,000 for non-Harvard organizations to develop and implement programming that supports K-12 teachers and students in their study of East, South, and Southeast Asia. A critical aspect of the Asia Center's mission is to promote intra- and inter-Asian research, so proposals should engage seriously with at least two Asian countries. Proposals that deal with the Asian diaspora are also welcome.
Projects may include, but are not limited to, teacher training workshops, development of online and digital materials, and cultural events. Preference is given to projects that are multi-disciplinary in nature and that actively engage less-resourced schools. Applicants are also encouraged to make use of the Harvard community as a resource.
