Congratulations to Lucas Rambo Bender, winner of the 2022 Gaddis Smith International Book Prize for his book Du Fu Transforms: Tradition and Ethics Amid Societal Collapse, published by the Asia Center Publications Program in 2021. The Gaddis Smith International Book Prize is awarded for the best first book by a Yale ladder faculty member.
