Professor Arthur Kleinman Elected as Honorary Academician of Academia Sinica, Taiwan

We are delighted to announce that Arthur Kleinman, Esther and Sidney Rabb Professor of Anthropology, Professor of Medical Anthropology in Global Health and Social Medicine, Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, and former Faculty Director of the Asia Center, has been elected as Honorary Academician of Academia Sinica by the 34th Convocation of Academicians held from July 4 to July 7, 2022, in Taipei, Taiwan.

Elections of new Academicians are held every two years in order to honor outstanding academic achievements. Honorary Academicians are appointed to this esteemed position for life.
