Chunying Yue

Chunying Yue is an associate at the Harvard University Asia Center (2023–present). Previously, she was a visiting fellow at the Shorenstein Center at Harvard Kennedy School (2022–2023) and an Asia Fellow and China Public Policy Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Ash Center (2019–2022). Dr. Yue is also a research associate at the Research Center for Contemporary China at Peking University, where she earned her Ph.D. in Political Science in 2017. Since 2020, she has co-chaired the Chinese Development and Governance Workshop series. Her research focuses on comparative politics and empirical methods, with a particular interest in civic engagement across different polities.
