We are pleased to announce the release of John D. Phan’s new book, Lost Tongues of the Red River. In this book, Phan makes a deep dive into the history of the Vietnamese language, demonstrating that it evolved from a Sinitic language rooted in the Red River Plain of northern Vietnam.
