Ramakrishna Ramaswamy

Ramakrishna Ramaswamy taught at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi between 1986 and 2018 in the School of Physical Sciences. He was trained at Madras University, IIT Kanpur, and Princeton University, and his research has largely focused on complex systems and nonlinear science. His academic interests are diverse, ranging from chaos theory to systems biology and from the history of ideas to gender and representation in STEM in India. An elected Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences, the Indian National Science Academy, and the Indian Academy of Sciences, he is presently a visiting Professor in the Department of Chemistry at IIT Delhi.
