The abstract must be single spaced and between 200-250 words only, with five to seven key words.
Citations and References
Please use the APA consistently in both citations and references.
Manuscript submission
▪ All manuscripts must be sent to the Managing Editor through this email: asiacenter_seadlejournal@harvard.edu. The manuscript must be attached as a doc/docx file.
▪ Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are carefully proofread prior to submission. The journal welcomes contributions written in recognized varieties of English; however, manuscripts must be written clearly, consistently, and to a standard that allows reviewers and readers to engage with the content without difficulty.
▪ We seek manuscripts that are not yet published or are being considered for publication in other journals or by other publishers.
Review Process
We employ a double blind review process in which both reviewers and contributors remain anonymous. Contributions are first received by the managing editor whose task is to determine whether the submitted manuscript meets the basic criteria of the journal in terms of scope and quality. If the paper is determined to meet the requirements of the first stage of review, it is then forwarded to two reviewers who are experts in their field. The reviewers will decide whether the manuscript will be:
▪ Accepted
▪ Accepted with minor revisions
▪ Rejected
Ethical Considerations
Originality, Plagiarism, and Source Acknowledgment
All submissions must be original works of the authors. Proper citation or acknowledgment must be given for the ideas, words, or findings of others.
Reporting Standards
Authors of research-based articles must present a clear, accurate, and complete account of the work conducted, along with an objective discussion of its significance. Empirical studies should provide sufficient methodological detail and relevant references to enable other scholars to replicate the research. The fabrication, falsification, or misrepresentation of data, as well as the inclusion of false or misleading statements, is strictly prohibited.
Author Contributions
Authors must provide a brief statement describing the specific contributions of each author to the manuscript. Contributions may include, but are not limited to, conceptualization, study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of findings, manuscript drafting, and manuscript revision. All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Example:
Author A: Conceptualization, methodology, data analysis, writing of the original draft.
Author B: Data collection, data analysis, manuscript review and editing.
Author C: Supervision, interpretation of findings, manuscript review and editing
Avoiding Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
Authors must not submit or publish the same research in multiple journals. Manuscripts already published or under review elsewhere are ineligible for submission.
Addressing Errors in Published Articles
If an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they must immediately notify the Editor. Authors are obligated to cooperate with the journal to retract or correct the publication through an erratum or other appropriate means.
